Incredible material presented here. I feel like I'm going through a process of self-discovery reading this and each read-through is promoting new ideas. The refusal of truth sets a cascade going of infinite problems. Erase any notion of truth entirely, and you are lost forever. I remember waking up to this, coming out of a postmodern haze, and the dissonance is physically painful, but the only pain that leads to growth.
Wow, there is so much here. I believe your last statement about this concept explaining much of human conflict. The person operates to become unassailable and yet this is impossible. Thus many pathways are generated both iteratively and retroductively and none of them being the actual cause and effect of reality. This completely clouds the ability to discern reality and is made worse because understanding reality was never the goal, it was unassailability, comfort, or the avoidance of pain. I am excited to begin understanding these concepts and applying them. Thank you for this amazing content!
I'm contemplating that last part of what you said regarding unassailability. it sounds like, because the nature of reality is such that true unassailability is impossible, someone resolving from this place would, if they fail to correct their initial error in resolving in favor of unassailability, have to start filtering everything in their environment through that lens in order to maintain consistency. That means that anything which exposes a vulnerability, failure, or other pain in the individual would be categorized as an assault and the thing or person categorized an an assailant. The longer this goes on uncorrected that would necessitate destroying the thing or person either literally or somehow figuratively.
